SOUTH ELGIN -- Anderson Animal Shelter will host its 24th annual dinner and auction "A Night to Paws" at the Q Center, 1405 N. Fifth Ave., St. Charles, from 5 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7. The event will feature live and silent auction items followed by dinner, entertainment and dancing.

Tickets are $125 per person and various levels of corporate and individual sponsorship are available.

Proceeds from this event will benefit Anderson Animal Shelter, 1000 S. Lafox Road, South Elgin. The shelter provides temporary housing for approximately 3,400 homeless or abandoned companion animals annually.
